Import Levy to support fall beef campaigns

In anticipation of the new Canada Food Guide, and in order to raise awareness of the nutritional and environmental benefits of beef a media, a campaign will launch this fall to show Canadians that #BEEFBELONGS as part of a healthy, balance diet. The #BEEFBELONGS plan includes telling a compelling narrative anchored in fact-based nutritional and environmental impact information to demystify the negative misconceptions around beef.

Here’s what will be rolling out through the fall and winter from the ThinkBeef team:

  • A four story series for regional press distribution
  • A regional tool kit with key messages, Q&As, letter templates, infographics, dinner conversation messaging, social posts and more
  • Media outreach to leverage third-party experts on how beef belongs in the environment and on healthy plates of Canadians
  • Instagram influencer program
  • Regional daytime TV broadcast spots
